Ms. Kempson was born in Burbank, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 1980 from California State University, Northridge. In 1983, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1983.
Ms. Kempson is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California and the United States Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit. She is an active member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
Ms. Kempson has extensive arbitration, mediation and trial experience. She specializes in complex multi-party litigation, including product liability, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases.
