Ms. Halavi grew up in Santa Monica, California. She graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Psychology. Ms. Halavi earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Central District in California in 2019.
Ms. Halavi is Certified in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. She has served as the President of the Dispute Resolution Society at Pepperdine, a board member of the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law, a committee member of Pepperdine University’s Waves of Innovation Committee, and she worked at Pepperdine’s Mediation Clinic, where she mediated cases on behalf of the Los Angeles Superior Courts.
Ms. Halavi has been a member of the Negotiation and Mediation teams at Pepperdine and participated in three ABA Negotiation and Mediation Competitions around California and Arizona. In 2018 Ms. Halavi was chosen to represent Pepperdine in the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Competition in Paris, France.
Ms. Halavi has served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ernest M. Robles of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Halavi is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the American Bar Association.
